At its core is Coreloft™ synthetic insulation, chosen for its ability to retain warmth even when exposed to light moisture — a key advantage over down in variable weather and high-output scenarios. The vest’s exterior uses a lightweight nylon face fabric with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that sheds light precipitation and wind while maintaining a trim silhouette that integrates easily under shells or softshells.
