The Arc’teryx Beta Coat (Women’s) is a longer-length, all-mountain waterproof shell designed to deliver robust protection from wind, rain, and snow with a silhouette that extends coverage beyond standard shells. Built on the Beta platform — known for its versatility and durable weatherproofing — this coat is engineered for outdoor pursuits where comfort, protection, and mobility intersect, whether that’s hiking, travel, snowy walks, or everyday wet-weather wear. At its core is a 3-layer PFAS-free GORE-TEX® ePE membrane paired with an 80-denier face fabric made from 100% recycled nylon. This combination provides fully waterproof and windproof performance, with a recycled GORE C-KNIT™ backer that improves breathability and next-to-skin comfort during sustained activity. The coat’s longer cut offers extended coverage under a pack hipbelt and over longer midlayers, enhancing comfort in sustained wet or windy conditions without feeling overly heavy or restrictive. The design includes articulated patterning for freedom of motion, a DropHood™ with integrated collar for reliable head and neck protection, and a two-way front zipper that allows for dynamic movement and ventilation while walking or climbing. Thoughtful details like large dual-entry hand pockets, internal dump pockets, and adjustable cuffs and hood provide secure storage and customizable fit while maintaining a clean, streamlined exterior.
