It boasts an ultralight weight for a 3-person, 4-season tent, and it packs down small to leave more room in your pack for climbing gear. Black Diamond's NanoShield single-wall fabric offers light protection for alpine showers or the occasional snowflake, and you can purchase the Sil-Net seam sealer to amplify protection for adventures with a harsher weather forecast. NanoShield is incredibly breathable, and there are zippered mesh panels to enhance ventilation in warm weather. The DAC Featherlite poles set up inside the tent to provide tight weather protection in windier conditions.
