The lace-up closure system, sometimes paired with a lace keeper, lets riders fine-tune security and adjust tension for varied terrain and riding intensity. Underfoot, the Deed’s outsole blends Tack™ rubber with an internal Mute™ foam layer that enhances grip on platform pedals while helping dampen trail chatter and vibration. The Gamma tread design is optimized for pedal pins, helping maintain contact when momentum shifts or terrain gets rough. This outsole prioritizes a balance of traction and comfort rather than the stiff power transfer found in clipless-specific shoes.
