The Helly Hansen Odin Backcountry Softshell Bib Pant is built for ski touring with a softshell material that maximizes our mountainside mobility. The breathable material is coated with a durable water repellent and features 4-way stretch and mechanical zippers for added ventilation—a great combination for calorie-burning ascents and other high-intensity efforts in the alpine. We also like the articulated knees and gusseted crotch, which provide the freedom of movement we need for our rides. When we're more concerned about getting wet from the inside out than outside in, we choose these light and breathable softshell bibs over waterproof bibs and ski pants to moderate our temperature and moisture levels when we're chasing hard after the powder.
