An engineered mesh upper is both durable and breathable, and GORE-TEX keeps dry with its waterproof, breathable membrane when a stream of snow melt blocks the hiking path. A Vibram Flextron sole was specially engineered to give you traction on loose or slippery surfaces without being too rigid, while a Steel-Spring sole prevents foot deflection and provides vertical support on rock scrambles.
