Product Details
The Patagonia Women’s Nano-Air Light Hybrid Jacket is an active-insulation layer designed for high-output mountain activities in cool conditions. Built with a hybrid construction, the jacket combines lightweight synthetic insulation in exposed areas with highly breathable stretch panels to regulate body temperature during sustained movement such as climbing, ski touring, or fast-paced hiking. The front panels and sleeves use 40-gram FullRange® synthetic insulation, which provides light warmth while remaining flexible and air-permeable. This insulation works with a lightweight recycled polyester ripstop shell and lining to create a jacket that stretches and breathes during activity. The goal is to maintain core warmth while allowing excess heat and moisture to escape during aerobic movement. To improve ventilation, Patagonia incorporates R1® Air fleece panels across the back, sides, and underarms. These areas correspond to zones where the body generates the most heat, helping release moisture and excess warmth during intense effort. The hybrid design allows the jacket to provide insulation where it is most useful while maximizing airflow in high-heat zones. The jacket uses a slim, articulated fit designed for mobility and easy layering. Lightweight materials and stretch construction allow it to move naturally with the body during climbing or skiing, and the breathable design makes it suitable either as an outer layer in mild weather or as a midlayer beneath a waterproof shell in colder conditions. Overall, the Nano-Air Light Hybrid Jacket is intended for aerobic mountain pursuits where temperature regulation and freedom of movement are critical.
