Some trekking boots can feel like clodhoppers, but not the new Salewa Puez Knit Mid PTX Hiking Boot. This new boot in Salewa's Progressive Trekking collection dials down the protection and dials up the cushioning for a lighter, more comfortable alternative to the traditional trekking boot. As a trekking boot, the Puez still provides plenty of protection and support for hiking with its abrasion-resistant uppers, waterproof and breathable membrane, protective rand and toe cap, and a thermoplastic frame that balances support with flex for mixed, mountain terrain. As part of the Progressive Trekking line, the Puez also features unique blends of natural and recycled materials, including hemp laces and unique Alpine Hemp midsoles that mix hemp with synthetic fibers sourced from recycled Salewa apparel.
