Product Details
The Arc’teryx Cerium SV Hoody (Women’s) is a premium down-insulated jacket engineered for maximum warmth in cold, dry or lightly wet conditions while still remaining remarkably light and packable. Part of Arc’teryx’s Cerium family, the SV (“Severe Weather”) variant upgrades the standard Cerium with higher fill-power down, enhanced insulation mapping, and a more protective shell to deliver elite thermal performance for extended rests, summit bids, and winter travel. At the heart of the jacket is a blend of 1,000-fill-power goose down and strategically placed Coreloft™ synthetic insulation, which helps retain loft where moisture exposure is more likely, such as the shoulders and cuffs. This combination provides an exceptionally strong warmth-to-weight ratio that packs down small for backpacking or ski touring yet delivers substantial heat when needed most. The shell uses a lightweight but durable Pertex® Diamond Fuse fabric with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, offering wind resistance and protection from light precipitation while maintaining low weight and excellent compressibility. An insulated StormHood™ surrounds the head comfortably and seals in warmth in cold winds. The regular fit is roomy enough to accommodate insulating layers underneath without restricting movement yet maintains a trim silhouette for layering efficiency. Designed for low-output and cold-weather scenarios, the Cerium SV Hoody excels in situations where warmth is paramount — from belay breaks in alpine terrain to winter backcountry tours — while remaining lightweight enough to serve as an efficient carrying-weight solution for multi-day pursuits.
