Product Details
The Patagonia Women’s Nano-Air Light Insulated Vest is an active-insulation vest designed for high-output mountain activities where balancing warmth, breathability, and mobility is essential. Part of Patagonia’s Nano-Air series, the vest is built to remain comfortable during continuous movement, allowing wearers to maintain consistent temperature regulation without frequently adding or removing layers. At the core of the design is 40-gram FullRange® synthetic insulation, which provides lightweight warmth while remaining highly air-permeable and stretchable. Unlike traditional insulated layers that trap heat, FullRange insulation allows excess warmth and moisture to escape during strenuous activity, helping prevent overheating during climbs, ski tours, or fast-paced hiking. The outer shell and lining use 100% recycled polyester ripstop fabric that provides mechanical stretch, breathability, and improved abrasion resistance. The material is treated with a PFC-free durable water-repellent (DWR) finish, which helps shed light moisture and snow while maintaining airflow. This design ensures the vest performs well as a breathable midlayer or lightweight outer layer in cool conditions. The sleeveless design focuses warmth on the core while leaving the arms unrestricted for movement. An articulated cut and low-profile quilting help maintain mobility during dynamic activities, and the streamlined fit allows the vest to layer comfortably under a shell or over a base layer. Overall, the Nano-Air Light Vest is intended for aerobic mountain pursuits where breathability and mobility are as important as insulation.
